This Old Mine diamonds was cut and polished in Europe, probably London or possibly Amsterdam, before the 1870s when technology and power required to shape a diamond’s outline to a perfect circle were introduced to the diamond cutting factories.
The 18ct hallmarked ring is of modern manufacture.
